My Story. My Why
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to make decisions about caring for an aging loved one. When my mom developed dementia, my dad became her primary caregiver, determined to care for her himself even as the physical and emotional demands became overwhelming. He struggled with the idea of moving her into a care facility, feeling he would be letting her down. Everything changed when a compassionate senior living advisor helped him understand that finding professional care wasn’t giving up on Mom—it was another way of loving and caring for her. With her guidance, we found a wonderful memory care community, where Dad visited Mom every day until she passed. That experience inspired me to create Next Stage Support, to provide families with the same compassion, understanding, and guidance that made such a difference for ours.
In the first step we will conduct a needs assessment to determine physical and mental-social functionality. We will also listen to your concerns and address any questions you may have about senior care options.
After we reviewed the assessment we will put together a suggested care level, consult with you on the reasoning for the proposed level of care, and provide you with options on getting that care for your loved ones.
If the care level needed is outside of the home, we will arrange all facility tours and be there to introduce you to the staff and answer any of your questions.
We’ll be there to guide you through the move in process and share ways to help ease the transition for both you and your loved one.
